Privacy Policy — NexusMod Services

1 Who We Are

NexusMod Services ("we", "us", "our") operates a suite of Telegram bots and associated web applications, including but not limited to:

SwiftloreBot — A Taylor Swift trivia and entertainment bot
GrandeluxeBot — A music trivia and entertainment bot (Ariana Grande and more)
NexusStore Bot — Our payment and premium upgrade bot
Web Applications — Hub UI, Store UI, GroupAdmin UI, and SuperAdmin UI hosted under nexusmod.works

This policy applies to all current and future bots and services operated under the NexusMod / nexusmod.works umbrella.

2 Data We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to operate our services. All data is obtained through Telegram's Bot API and your interaction with our bots and web apps.

2.1 — User Data (Collected Automatically)

2.3 — Group Data

2.4 — Payment Data

What We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect your phone number, email address, real name, location, IP address, message content (other than bot commands), contacts, or any data from private conversations. We never read your messages — we only process direct commands and quiz answers sent to our bots.

3 How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

Service Operation — Running quizzes, tracking scores, and displaying leaderboards
Personalization — Remembering your language preference and equipped badges
Premium Features — Managing Pro User/Pro Group subscriptions and Clone Bot deployments
Fair Usage — Enforcing daily answer limits to prevent abuse
Moderation — Managing banned groups and blocked players to maintain service quality
Analytics — Understanding aggregate usage patterns to improve the service (never sold to third parties)
Transaction Records — Processing payments, issuing receipts, and handling refund requests

Important

We will never sell, rent, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers or marketing companies. Your data is used solely to operate and improve our services.

4 Data Storage & Security

All user data is stored securely in a PostgreSQL database hosted on private, access-controlled servers. We implement the following security measures:

Database access is restricted to authenticated services only
All web communications use HTTPS/TLS encryption
Bot tokens and API keys are stored in encrypted configuration files, never hardcoded
Admin access to the SuperAdmin panel requires JWT-authenticated login
Expired Pro subscriptions are automatically purged by a scheduled database janitor
Clone Bot tokens are stored securely and only accessible by the bot management system

5 Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services:

Gameplay Data (scores, combos, achievements) — Retained indefinitely while you actively use the bot. Reset periodically during seasonal cycles.
Cycle/Season History — Archived at the end of each competitive cycle for historical leaderboard purposes.
Pro Subscriptions — Automatically deleted upon expiration.
Daily Limit Counters — Reset daily and not permanently stored.
Transaction Records — Retained for a minimum of 12 months for refund and dispute resolution purposes.
Group Settings — Retained as long as the bot remains in the group.

6 Third-Party Services

Our services interact with the following third-party platforms:

Telegram Bot API — Used to send/receive messages, manage groups, and process payments via Telegram Stars. Subject to Telegram's Privacy Policy.
Telegram Stars (Payments) — Payment processing is handled entirely by Telegram. We do not process or store credit card numbers, bank details, or any financial payment credentials.

Note

We do not use any third-party analytics services, advertising networks, or tracking pixels. Your interaction with our bots stays between you, Telegram, and our servers.

7 Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right to Access — You can view your stats, achievements, vault items, and purchase history through the Hub UI dashboard at any time.
Right to Correction — Your display name and username are automatically synced from Telegram. If information is outdated, it updates on your next interaction.
Right to Deletion — You may request complete deletion of all your data by contacting us at @NMWBotSupport. We will remove your data from all tables within 30 days of the request.
Right to Data Portability — You may request an export of your data in a machine-readable format by contacting support.
Right to Opt Out — You can stop using the bot at any time. If the bot is removed from a group, group-specific data will be retained but can be deleted on request.

8 Children's Privacy

Our services are operated through Telegram, which requires users to be at least 16 years old (or the minimum age required in their jurisdiction) to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from children under this age threshold.

9 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes:

The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will be revised
Major changes may be announced via our official updates channel at @NexusBotUpdate
Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
